CONGRATULATIONS

"Arvind N", son of Amrutha (mom) and Naveen (dad) & Soumya (little sister) completed his grade X with CBSE board (from a Regular Ed Meridian School, Hyderabad) & has successfully scored a CGPA of 8 / 10, though he was given the REGULAR, DESCRIPTIVE type of question paper by the CBSE board & with NO adult prompter. Arvind was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism when he was 3 years old. He has come a wonderfully long way in all areas & this was his 8th year of successful mainstreaming. Though children in Autism spectrum (due to their speech delay) should be given NON descriptive type of question paper & adult prompter (instead of a junior scribe) for motivation and redirection, educational boards in India still have not been providing them the right support system. He has an in-depth academic knowledge & intelligence, that IF he had been given modified question paper with an adult prompter, his CGPA would have surely been much higher.
