Bhumi Pujan for a new CP Wing in Home & Hope
Rourkela Unit of NTPC-SAIL Power Company Ltd. released its CSR funds to build a new wing for children with cerebral palsy in Home & Hope premises. Sri S Prabhakaran, General Manager & Branch Unit Head, Rourkela and Sri Narayan Pati, General Manager of Rourkela Steel Plant & Secretary, Home & Hope along with other NSPCL Staff conducted the Bhumi Pujan for the building on 27th October 2010 in presence of parents & Staff of Home & Hope. The plan-outlay for the two-roomed building has been done by the Civil Engineering Department of Rourkela Steel Plant . Sri Sanket Bagaria, an adult with intellectual handicap greeted Sri Prabhakaran after the ceremony was over and NSPCL distributed sweets all children of Home & Hope on the occasion.Later he also visited the production unit run by parents and hinted to help such endeavors in future too.Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mishra, Prof. & Head of Anaesthesiology, VSS Medical College incidentally visited Home & Hope during the time and was present althrough the programme.

RSP construction team being appraised by Sri N Pati
Sri S N Singh, Managing Director of Rourkela Steel Plant has okayed a three room expansion project for Home & Hope. The construction team is being briefed by Sri Narayan Pati, Secretary of the special school & General Manager of RSP about the execution project. Sri Pati is the key person behind the project.
