Vijay Kant's daughter's wedding/reception
Sri Vijay Kant is the only professional in the group of parents that take the leadership of Parivaar. Despite being paid by the central office of Parivaar, Vijay Kant's contribution along with that of his mentor Sri JP Gadkari towards establishing Parivaar on a firm footing and making it an international organisation is well known to all Parivaar members along with the adult self-advocates all over the country in the field of developmental disability. His daughter Dipti got married to Nawaz in St.Patrick Church on 22nd May where Mr. Vijay Kant had invited the whole executive of Parivaar along with his friends & relations.The marriage of Dipti & Nawaz, as the conducting priest aptly commented, was one beween two religions and in the evening at the reception in Hotel Richmond Mr. Gadkari, the Director of Projects & Implementation, Parivaar duely embraced Dipti & Nawaz to the Parivaar- an All-India organisation whose representives from Kasmir to Kanyakumari were with him and with Dipti & Nawaz. The General Secretary of Parivaar Col. Gautam conngratulated the newly weds in the reception.
