Mrs. Asha Roongta visits Home & Hope
Mrs. Asha Roongta, wife of Chairman, SAIL and social activist visited Home & Hope on 26th February 2008 along with Mrs. Shakuntala Singh, President, Deepika Mahila Sanghati and other senior executives of DMS. During her visit Mrs. Roongta inaugurated the renovation of the campus of Home & Hope along with an exhibition by students of Home & Hope. Mrs. Shakuntala Singh inaugurated a candle room made with help from Rourkela Steel Plant just adjacent to the Vocational Hall. All the dignitaries were treated with colourful dances by students of Home & Hope. Sri Narayan Pati, Secretary, Home & Hope took the honoured guests around the school and explained the various activities undertaken in Home & Hope. Mrs. Asha Roongta in her small speech felt that she was highly impressed by the abilities of the children of the school and congratulated the professionals and school management for their contribution to the cause.
