HRB Clinic, Ispat General Hospital

Kadambini the small girl sitting between her parents. She has definite history of delayed development. She sat at 1 year, stood and walked at 2 years and despite being three and half years old now, she walks with a typical gait. Has very low attention span and is not able to adhere to routines. Speech seems ok but poor communication and cognitive skills. She has seizure disorder for which her pediatrician has put her on sodium valproate.Likely to have Hyperactive Attention Defecit Disorder. The child was born a hish risk baby and the parents came for early sensory stimulation to this clinic more than 3 years back only once. A home-based protocol for improving motor, cognitive and attention was discussed with parents.
