This mother has a complaint

Person with Cerebral Palsy and her mother in HRB Clinic

This person with CP was being followed up in this Clinic ever since her infancy as her mother works as a paramedic in this hospital. A close look at her will confirm that she has cerebral palsy and she has been certified to have 75% disability by the Government authorities . We encouraged them to have her education in a normal school and this year she appeared at Class X finals by the BSE. The girl is not able to write properly for her brain condition (CP) and the mother's appeal to the Headmaster of the School to arrange for a writer for her during exams couldn't be entertained. So she came back to us to seek help for her daughter to appear at Supplementary Exams with a writer to put forward her answers in pen and paper. We are also at a loss to help this mother. We have decided to write to the District Education Officer for help with a copy to the Chairperson of the State Disability Commission- in whatever name it exists in Odisha.
