Aids & appliances distributed to people with disabilities

Department of Corporate Social Responsibility, SAIL, RSP distributed hearing aids,tri-cycles, crutches. wheel chairs and other aids and appliances to people with disabilities from peripheral villages around Rourkela in a hall in the Institute of Periphery Development in Sector-20 on 27th March 2013. The Deputy Steel Secretary Sri UP Singh along with his wife Mrs. Archana Singh and Sri GS Prasad, CEO of Rourkela Steel Plant distributed the aids and appliances. The programme was conducted by Sri PK Pradhan, General Manager,Township and was ably assisted by the Dept of Periphery Development under the leadership of Sri Dhiren Mishra, DGM, Periphery Development.

Mr. Pati is introducing Feroze who has been choosen to receive the Redcross Award from the Chief Minister of Odisha on 1st April 2013- the Odisha Day in Bhubaneswar. Mr. Alam has been choosen for his performance in sports and running the production centre in Home & Hope and guiding the self-advocates (adults with intellectual disabilities & cerebral palsy) in Rourkela.
